DENIS LEROY

On the paths leading to the planet’s highest summits, my companions and I keep up and maintain our hopes and visions. To climb, ski, slide or ascend allows us the pleasure of descending; such is our enthusiasm and our way of life. How could we possibly imagine a different way of life, we who are born in the mountains which makes us live and vibrate to this day?

What could be more normal than turning our objectives towards horizons which lie far beyond our own frontiers and the mountains in which we live? A far away summit, a far away slope, and the next even further away, all holding an irresistible attraction. And how we picture those invisible mountains; we know they are there and we imagine them as impregnable forts coldly taunting us, so we want to climb them, we want to ski them, just for fun and perhaps quite simply just to conquer them.

Continuing to explore the mountain ranges of the world gives me the pleasure of accompanying my clients off the beaten track. Like in the Caucasus where we can ski in complete freedom, or on prestigious summits such as Xixabangma, or even more unusually in the arid mountains of the Sahara desert.

The diversity of my activities pushes me even further. My thirst for adventure and all the diverse forms of skiing urges me to continue my daily battle for the survival of our ideals. This freedom which is ours and which we offer to you, remains the best insight into our profession.
